This PRIVACY POLICY FOR CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS (“California Privacy Policy” or “Privacy Policy”) is provided by NewHomePage and its subsidiaries (collectively, “we,” “us,” or “our”) and applies to natural persons who reside in the State of California (“consumer(s),” “you,” or “your”). As required by California law, we explain in this Privacy Policy how we collect, use, sell and/or share your personal and sensitive personal information, as those terms are defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended and supplemented by the California Privacy Rights Act (collectively the “CCPA”). “Personal Information” may exclude certain information that is publicly available, deidentified, aggregated, subject to the Fair Credit Reporting Act, GLBA, HIPAA, or the Driver’s Privacy Protection Act of 1994, or otherwise exempt or excluded from the CCPA.

We obtain information that identifies, relates to, describes, references, is capable of
being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with a
particular consumer (“personal information”).

We collect the categories of personal information about California consumers identified in the chart below.  During the past 12 months we disclosed, sold or shared California consumers’ personal information to third parties described in the chart for business or commercial purposes which include market research, data validation and verification services, marketing communications, targeting advertising, sales outreach and marketing and sales similar use cases.

California Residents’ Rights and Choices

The CCPA provides consumers (California residents) with specific rights regarding their personal information. This section describes your CCPA rights and explains how you may exercise those rights.

Right to Know

You have the right to request that we disclose certain information to you about our collection and use of your personal information over the past 12 months. If you are a California resident, once we receive and confirm your verifiable consumer request, we will disclose to you (up to twice per year and subject to certain exemptions): 

  • The categories and specific pieces of personal information we collected about you.
  • The categories of our sources for the personal information we collected about you.
  • Our business or commercial purposes for collecting your personal information.
  • The categories of personal information about you we shared, disclosed or sold to third parties and the categories of the recipients to whom this information was disclosed, sold, or shared.
  • The business or commercial purposes for which we sold, disclosed or shared your personal information.
  • A description of the sensitive personal information, if any, we use or disclose about you, and our purposes of using or disclosing such sensitive personal information.

Right to Request that We Delete Your Personal Information

Right to Opt-out of our Sale/Sharing of Your Personal Information

Right to Correct Your Personal Information

California residents who believe the personal information we maintain about them is inaccurate may submit requests that we correct their personal information.  You may make a request to correct your personal information by visiting www.newhomepage.com/ccpa-opt-out or calling us at 877-399-1476.

Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information

California residents have the right to request that we not use or disclose their sensitive personal information for any purpose other than as necessary to provide them services or products they have requested from us.  You may request that we not use or disclose your sensitive personal information for any purpose other than as necessary to provide you with services or products you have requested from us by emailing Sales@newhomepage.com or calling us at 877-399-1476.

General Process for Submitting CCPA Requests 

California residents may submit their requests to exercise their CCPA rights by following the methods described above for each specific right or generally by using one of the following methods: 

Only you or your authorized agent may make a verifiable consumer request related to your personal information. You may also make a verifiable consumer request on behalf of your minor child.

The verifiable consumer request must:

  • Provide sufficient information that allows us to reasonably verify you are the person about whom your request relates to or you are the appointed and authorized representative of the consumer on whose behalf you are submitting the request.
  • Describe your request with sufficient detail that allows us to properly understand, evaluate, and respond to it.

We cannot grant your request or provide you with personal information if we cannot verify your identity or authority to make the request and confirm that the personal information that is the subject of your request relates to you.  In some cases, we may request additional information in order to verify your request or where necessary to process your request.  If we are unable to adequately verify a request, we will notify the requestor.  

Non-Discrimination

We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights.

Minor’s Rights

We do not knowingly collect, use, disclose, share or sell the personal information of individuals under the age of 18. 

Your Privacy Rights Under California Shine the Light Law

Under California’s “Shine the Light” law (Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.83), California residents who provide us certain personal information are entitled to request and obtain from us, free of charge, information about the personal information (if any) we have shared with third parties for their own direct marketing use.  Such requests may be made once per calendar year for information about any relevant third-party sharing in the prior calendar year. To submit a “Shine the Light” request, email us at Sales@newhomepage.com and include in your request a current California address and your attestation that you are a California resident.

Changes to Our Privacy Notice

We reserve the right to amend this Privacy Notice at our discretion and at any time. When we make changes to this Privacy Notice, we will notify you by email or through a notice on our website homepage.

NewHomePage is required to compile and post within our privacy policy the following information by July 1 (of each year for the previous calendar year):

a. The number of requests to know (disclosures) that the business received, complied with in whole or in part, and denied.19 total Disclosure requests. 12 of those requests were not fulfilled due to the consumer not returning verification documentation.
b. The number of requests to delete that the business received, complied with in whole or in part, and denied.500 Deletion/Opt-Out requests. None were declined or denied. NewHomePage treats Deletion and Opt-Out requests the same.
